010110 Unveils Tribute Splitboard Design for Wade Galloway

In partnership with local Prior snowboard dealer Blakiston Sports, 010110 jointly designed top and base sheet graphics for a tribute splitboard in memorial to the late Lethbridge City Councillor and backcountry enthusiast Wade Galloway who was swept away by avalanche on the slopes of Mount Rowe on February 15, 2014 in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada.
The tribute board design unveiling will officially happen at a special event screening of Teton Gravity's feature film 'Higher' which features world reknown extreme snowboarder Jeremy Jones. The event will take place at the Movie Mill in Lethbridge on October 9, 2014 and is hosted by Blakiston Sports Inc. and Subaru. Tickets are available for $10 each from Dan Webster/Blakiston Sports through this event notice on Facebook.
Purchase orders for the Wade Galloway Tribute Splitboard are now being accepted by contacting Prior directly at 1-877-93-PRIOR, with production occuring in October and November before the snow season kicks off this winter. Although the board was designed with a splitboard in mind, Wade's top and base sheet will be available on any of Prior's current models.
Since 1990, Prior has designed and built a full line of premium snowboards, skis and splitboards from their Manufactory in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.
